ForumMapping environmental threats and actions in Asia and Oceania
Ecojesuit Staff asked 4 months ago

The River Above Asia Oceania Ecclesial Network (RAOEN) opened an interactive mapping initiative that allows people to tell stories of environmental concerns in their communities and actions they are taking to address these. This allows us to get a clearer picture of what is happening on the ground, connect with collaborators, and sustain a dialogue on how we can work together to care for our forests and oceans.

If you have stories to share or if you know a community who would be interested to share their stories, visit https://raoen.ushahidi.io. If you know of similar initiatives in other regions, please share them here!

While we do not have a strong connection to this organization, the Ignatian Solidarity Network in the United States is going to be sharing this mapping tool that maps environmental justice issues. I am not sure you go about adding an issue to the map, but I imagine it is possible: https://ejatlas.org/
